On November 09, 2020, a wallet was turned into the Shippensburg Police Department. The wallet belongs to Joshua WOLFE of Shippensburg. Wallet can be claimed at the Shippensburg Police Department.

The North Middleton Township Police are requesting assistance identifying the pictured male who stole the pictured motorized bicycle from a residence in the 800 block of E. Louther St, Carlisle.  The motorbike is a 26" Diamondback - metallic blue w/ chrome fenders, headlight and tailight and is more than 25 years old.  Anyone that may be able to identify the pictured suspect should contact North Middleton Twp PD @ (717)243-7910 or leave a tip through Crimewatch.

There were multiple mailboxes damaged in the 1800 block of Spring Rd, and the 2100 block of Douglas Dr. Saturday night into Sunday morning (May 9th-10th) from a hit and run vehicle.  Anyone with information on a vehicle in the area with suspicious damage to the passenger front or side should contact the North Middleton Township Police Department at (717-243-7910).

COVID-19 (Coronavirus)
As part of the national effort to contain the spread of COVID-19, North Middleton Township has elected to close the Township Office, Police Department Office, Public Works Office, Tax Collector Office and the North Middleton Authority Office to public access until further notice.
All Municipal employees will report to work as usual. All business with any office will be handled via email, telephone, and/or U.S. Mail. Any business that must be conducted in person shall be done by appointment only.

After many meetings and conversations with local officials, the decision has been made to take as many safety precautions as possible to prevent the spread of COVID-19. In order to keep our employees safe and 'flatten the curve' of the virus, our department will be taking necessary precautions which are as follows:

Shippensburg Police Department had a Mazda key with a leather tag with Bentley on it at the Shippensburg Corn Festival. Key was found on Penn Street. Owner can claim the key at the Shippensburg Police Department.

Shippensburg Police would like to advise the public  that the family involved is safe and the suspect is in custody.  This is an on going investigation. There is NO danger to the public. This is the only information that is being released at this time. The Amber Alert and the BOLO has been cancelled.
