On Friday 12 February 2021 around 0450 hours the CPD K9 unit observed a Honda Odyssey being driven on Allen Rd without any lights on. An attempt was made to stop the Odyssey but the driver, later identified as Ashley L JORGENSEN, failed to stop and led the CPD K9 unit on a pursuit into West Pennsboro Township. The pursuit ended when JORGENSEN turned into a driveway in Plainfield and stopped. JORGENSEN was removed from the Odyssey with the assistance of Troopers from the PSP Carlisle Station, who responded to assist with the pursuit.
JORGENSEN was taken the Cumberland County Prison for processing and then released.
In addition to Fleeing and Eluding, summary vehicle code offenses Periods for requiring lighted lamps, Driving on roadways laned for traffic and Careless driving were also charged.
