On November 22nd, 2020, at 0538 hours, Carlisle Borough Police located Jeffrey MCBRIDE in the 1st block of W. Penn Street in a parked vehicle. MCBRIDE had an active warrant out for his arrest.
MCBRIDE was observed throwing trash out of the driver side window as it was parked. Officers made contact and informed MCBRIDE he had a warrant. During the arrest, MCBRIDE refused to listen to commands given by Officers on scene and required Officers to employ force to overcome his resistance. When Officers searched his person, a small amount of marijuana was located.
Based on the above facts, MCBRIDE was charged with resisting arrest, possession of a small amount of marijuana, and scattering rubbish. MCBRIDE was transported to Cumberland County Prison for processing and arraignment.
