On 12/28/2014 at approximately 1650 hours, officers from the Carlisle Police Department arrived in the area of Walmart along Noble Blvd for the report of a retail theft. Staff described two males who had fled from the store when confronted. Officers subsequently located the males and took them into custody a few blocks away. The males were identified as Dustin Metzger and Trevor Kuhn. Upon further investigation, it was revealed that Kuhn had been observed by Walmart staff as he attempted to conceal items to remove them from the store. When he realized staff were watching, Kuhn left the items on other shelves and fled the scene. His accomplice, Dustin Metzger, had removed a charger from its packaging and was attempting to conceal it. When confronted by staff, Metzger handed over the charger and fled from the store. Kuhn had previously been banned from the Walmart because of another incident. As a result of this incident, Metzger was arrested for retail theft and Kuhn was arrested for defiant trespass.
