On Monday, August, 07 2017, at 1818 the Carlisle Police responded to the Walmart parking lot, 60 Noble Blvd., for a report of an active domestic. Officers arrived on scene, and located a black VW Jetta with a male occupant. The male, identified as William Perkins, exited the vehicle, and advised he was just involved in an argument with his wife. Perkins advised his wife had just walked into Walmart. Officers located the female half inside of Walmart. Through investigation, it was revealed that the two were arguing about their children who had been fighting in the backseat on their trip home from Massachusetts back to Kentucky. It was determined that William Perkins had grabbed the victim by the arm, and pulled her hair during the argument, causing injury to the victims left arm. William Perkins was taken into custody, and transported to Cumberland County Prison from process and arraignment on the charges of simple assault, and harassment.
