At about 2:30am, Lower Allen Township Police were dispatched to Weis Market, 1195 Lowther Rd, Camp Hill, for an attempted robbery. The suspect, a white male, full beard and moustache, approximately 5’ 7”, wearing a red hoodie, scarf, and khakis, carrying a dark backpack, attempted to checkout, then placed his hand into his backpack and told the clerk to empty the drawer. The clerk was able to secure the drawer and walk away. The suspect then left the store.
Police are seeking assistance in identifying the subject from the attached photograph. You do not have to give your name.
