On March 28, 2018, the East Pennsboro Township Police received a request from the Pennsylvania State Police PICS Section to investigate an attempt to buy or transfer a firearm on December 14, 2017, at Acri's Gun Shop, 3600 Sullivan Street, East Pennsboro Township. The investigation revealed that Jeremy P. Bryington, 36, of the 1100 block of Oyster Mill Road, Camp Hill, had made false statements on the Pennsylvania State Police Application/Record of Sale form when attempting to transfer a firearm into his possession. The application request was denied and the weapon transfer was not approved. Based on the false statements, Bryington is charged with Sale or transfer of firearms and Unsworn falsification to authorities and will face a preliminary hearing before MDJ Sanderson.
