On May 29, 2018 at approximately 10:24pm, the East Pennsboro Township Police responded to a crash on the off-ramp from I-81 North to North Enola Road (southbound). It was reported that the male operator was unconscious. Upon arrival, officers found the vehicle had rubbed against a guide rail coming to a stop causing no damage to either the car or the guide rail. The male operator, later identified as Justus Job Earnest, 29, of the 3000 block of Shermans Valley Road, Loysville, PA, was still unconscious. Believing this may be an overdose, officers administered Noloxone (a/k/a Narcan) which Earnest responded to. Earnest was transported to the hospital for evaluation. Charges were filed against Earnest for DUI and Driving under Suspension (DUI Related) and will face a preliminary hearing in DUI Central Court.
