On May 1, 2022 at 0638hrs., the East Pennsboro Township Police were called to Valley Rd and Oakwood Lane, Enola for a single vehicle auto accident. Officers arrived and located a vehicle that struck a utility pole. The operator was identified as Achyut Kafley of Enola. Kafley shows multiple signs of alcohol impairment and admitted to being intoxicated while driving a motor vehicle. Kafley was transported to Holy Spirit Hospital for treatment. Kafley consented to a blood test. Charges were filed and a preliminary hearing was scheduled at MDJ Sanderson's office.
