On June 18, 2019, at approximately 10:19 pm, the East Pennsboro Township Police were dispatched to the 100 block of Tory Circle for an active disturbance. Upon arrival in the area, a vehicle was observed to be traveling in the area without the headlights illuminated as if the operator was attempting to avoid being seen. The vehicle was stopped and Dominick Anthony Nardi, 20, of the first block of Richard Lee Lane, Phoenixville, PA, was found to be the operator and Markeil A. Hughes, 19, of the 300 block of Lopax Road, Harrisburg, was found to be a passenger. There had been several reports through the evening of Nardi and Hughes attempting to start fights with juveniles at the East Pennsboro Emergency Services Carnival and police had warned the duo several times to stop following the juveniles around and attempting to fight. Approximately 30-45 minutes after leaving the carnival, Nardi and Hughes showed up at the juvenile's residence and began yelling threats and expletives attempting to entice the juvenile to come outside. Hughes had threatened to get a gun and come back to shoot the juvenile and his parents. During a subsequent interview of Nardi and Hughes, they advised that the juvenile posted something inappropriate about someone's grandmother on social media and they did not think it was right. Both Nardi and Hughes were charged with Disorderly Conduct and Harassment. Nardi was also charged with Driving without lights to avoid identification and Periods for required lighted lamps. Both individuals will face a preliminary hearing before MDJ Sanderson.
