On October 21, 2020, at approximately 12:14 am, the East Pennsboro Township Police were dispatched to the 700 block of Erford Road, Camp Hill, for an active domestic. Upon arrival, the investigation revealed that a female at the location had called for help after Brent Shankweiler, 35, of the same location had become physically aggressive with her. The female ran out of the residence but Shankweiler went outside and carried her back in the house. During the struggle, the victim suffered abrasions to several parts of her body. Shankweiler was arrested and charged with Simple assault and Harassment and will face a preliminary hearing before MDJ Sanderson.
