On 11/08/2018 at 0959 hours, the East Pennsboro Township Police responded to an active bank robbery at the PNC Bank located at 235 North Enola Road in Enola. Bank employees reported that one male entered the bank and passed a note demanding money.
Video surveillance did show that at 0954 hours, the suspect parked a green in color 1995 older Dodge Ram pickup truck directly in front of the PNC Bank entrance doors. The sole male occupant of this vehicle entered the bank and approached a teller station. At this time, the suspect passed a note to the teller demanding money. An undisclosed amount of money was given to the suspect. There was no weapon displayed and no threat was directed to the bank staff. After receiving the money, the suspect entered the green Dodge Ram pickup truck and was last seen fleeing westbound on Juniata Avenue in Enola. The suspect was in the bank for only one to two minutes.
The suspect was described as a Hispanic male 5’6” to 5’8” tall and weighing around 220 pounds. He was wearing a dark blue hooded sweatshirt that had a white Nike logo on the front. He wore black jogging pants. The suspect also wore a black fabric mask with silver aviator style sunglasses that contained black lenses. He also wore blue latex gloves.
The green Dodge Ram was later recovered abandoned in Enola, several blocks from the PNC Bank. This vehicle was reported taken from Harrisburg City earlier in the day.
