On March 3, 2020, at approximately 1:13 am, the East Pennsboro Township Police observed a shadow of a person move across the 600 block of N. Enola Road very quickly. The police pulled into the train yard entrance to search the area. A person was observed diving into the brush towards the trains by the officer and failed to comply with orders to stop. The officer then went to a nearby business and observed a male sitting in the passenger seat of a van. The male in the van only identified himself with part of his name, but was determined to be Mario Gilbert Blanco-Bermudez, 27, of the 1100 block of Boston Road, Bronx, New York. The investigation later revealed that Blanco-Bermudez is involved in a theft ring. Just prior to the officer's arrival in the area, video surveillance showed 4-5 males running from the vehicle. On the property of the local business, a pair of bolt cutters were located. Blanco-Bermudez was charged with Possessing instruments of crime, and Loitering and prowling at nighttime. Since Blanco-Bermudez was released and the additional information was obtained the following day, a warrant was obtained.
