On September 8, 2019, at approximately 11:30 AM, the East Pennsboro Township Police returned a phone call to a victim in reference to losing his wallet at Dunkin Donuts located at 407 N. 21st Street, Camp Hill, and then finding that $300 was stolen from it. The investigation revealed that the victim's wallet fell from his pocket and was picked up by an elderly female who turned the wallet over to an employee who then provided the wallet to the manager on duty, Ashlyn Emilie Geedy, 27, of the 700 block of Valley Road, Enola. Geedy took the wallet to the office and removed the cash and placed the cash in her back jeans pocket. Employee, Mason Allen Taylor, 25, of the 200 block of Ridge Hill Road, Mechanicsburg, entered the office where Geedy was, along with Douglas Wharton Carey, 29, of the first block of Valley Road, Newville, where the three played a part in taking items, or concealing the victim's wallet. Geedy, Taylor, and Carey were charged with Theft of property lost, mislaid, or delivered by mistake, and Criminal Conspiracy and will all face a preliminary hearing before MDJ Sanderson. Geedy failed to show for her preliminary hearing and there is now a bench warrant issued for her. If you know Geedy's whereabouts, please contact the East Pennsboro Township Police Department at (717) 732-3633.
