On February 12, 2021 at 5:56 PM, the Lower Allen Township Police Department was dispatched to Primanti Bro's at the Capital City Mall for a possible PFA violation. County advised that the male would be in a gold Mazda. The caller did positively identify the male driving as Sekou Johnson. Officers observed the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop on the ramp to RT 15 South. The driver, Johnson, immediately advised that he had taken the registration plate off his brother's vehicle and put it on his vehicle as it was not registered. Johnson did not have any paperwork for the vehicle, to include proof of insurance. There was a four year old child sitting in the backseat, not in a booster seat or car seat.
Due to the odor of marijuana, Johnson was asked to step out of the vehicle. Johnson advised that he last smoked weed at approximately 2:30 PM. After SFST, Johnson was arrested for DUI. He was also found with a bag of marijuana in his pants. The combined actions of being impaired by marijuana and the lack of a proper child restraint system endangered the welfare of his child. Johnson was arrested, taken for legal blood, and refused.
