On August 4, 2019 at 10:03 AM, the Lower Allen Township Police Department was dispatched to meet a township resident in reference to a lost debit card. The victim reported that she had lost her debit card sometime after she made a deposit at a branch location in Lemoyne. She later observed several unauthorized transactions totaling $1,694.59.
One of these transactions was at a local KFC, another was at a local Weis Markets, and the other three were at a local Walmart. Video from the Weis purchase for gas revealed a male with a shaved head operating a silver Chrysler PT Cruiser convertible. A license plate was obtained and the vehicle was found to be registered to Lawrence King, Jr. of Harrisburg. A photo comparison with his driver's license matched the actor.
Officers later found the suspect vehicle in front of King's residence. Contact was made with King. King at first denied any involvement in this incident, however, quickly admitted to being involved after confronted with the video evidence. King stated that he found the card laying on the ground near Member's 1st and then decided to use it. King stated that he withdrew money from Walmart to pay for his rent.
