On June 1, 2021 at 10:35 AM, Mark Woodring was stopped by the Lower Allen Township Police Department driving his motorcycle 80 mph in a 55 mph zone. Woodring was found to be wanted out of Texas on a full extradition warrant and was subsequently taken into custody. Search incident to arrest located a black zipper container which contained a powdery substance which Woodring immediately described as Methamphetamine.
A further search incident to arrest, located an empty clear plastic baggie containing powdery residue as well as a clear plastic baggie containing two smaller baggies which contained a powdery substance suspected to be methamphetamine. Also in the bag was two glass pipes with powdery residue inside. After mirandizing Woodring he admitted that the drugs were Methamphetamine and that it was his drug of choice.
Woodring was then transported back to the LAPD station where a second search located a chain around his necklace with a bullet medallion on it. Inside the medallion was located another clear baggie containing a white powdery substance which appeared to be methamphetamine. Woodring's driving record for PA which showed him as suspended related to a previous DUI conviction. Woodring's suspension related to the DUI became effective on March 21, 2021.
