Warrant Service Leads to Recovery of Guns and Drugs



On April 6, 2021 around 7:20 PM, the Lower Allen Township Police Department was dispatched to the parking lot of the Capital City Mall for a wanted subject. Two subjects with active warrants from Dauphin County were reported to be in the area. The wanted subjects were to be traveling in a white SUV. 

In coordination with the Dauphin County Gang Task Force and Swatara Township Police Department while also being assisted by the Upper Allen Township Police Department and the Capital City Mall Security, officers located the vehicle and detained the seven occupants. While detaining the subjects, drugs and a handgun were observed in plain view.

Dauphin County agencies proceeded with their investigation of the persons while Lower Allen Township PD seized the vehicle and applied for a search warrant. The search of the vehicle revealed three loaded handguns, 44 rounds of ammunition, baggies of marijuana, digital scales, drug paraphernalia, a baggie of suspected crack cocaine, and at least $1,500 of cash was recovered from the subjects.

Criminal charges to be filed.
