The victim had her wallet stolen at Michael's and then fraudulent activity appeared on her credit cards. She began getting alerts from her financial institutions reporting fraudulent activity. It was discovered that five credit cards were compromised and used to complete fraudulent purchases totaling $1,389 at Kohl's and Target on the Carlisle Pike.

Surveillance footage was obtained for the unauthorized transactions. The footage depicted a heavier black female, approximately 5'09", with long black hair and tattoos on her hands utilizing the stolen credit cards to purchase merchandise without the victims' consent. The female suspect was observed to be a passenger in a two tone Dodge Ram pickup truck with various stickers displayed on the rear window. The photographs of the female suspect and vehicle were disseminated to various police agencies for assistance in identifying the suspect.
