On May 15, 2019 at 1:43 PM, the Lower Allen Township Police Department received notice from PSP that an individual not authorized to do so completed an application to purchase a firearm at Field and Stream. On January 26, 2019 Tiffany Casto was at Field and Stream and completed a Firearms Transaction form/application in an attempt to purchase a firearm from Field and Stream. Casto answered on the form that she had not been convicted, in any court, of an offense that would be a felony, or any other crime, for which the judge could imprison her for more than one year even if she had received a lesser sentence including probation. Casto also signed the form/application acknowledging that, "I also understand that making any false oral or written statement, or exhibiting any false or misrepresented identification with respect to this transaction, is a crime punishable as a felony under Federal law, and may also violate State and/or local law."
Casto answered this question dishonestly and the sale was not completed since PSP denied Casto's application. Contact was attempted with Casto but she calls were not returned. After not answering to her charges, a warrant has been issued for her arrest.
