On March 10th, 2020 a traffic stop was initiated on Route 15 North in the area of the ramp to Route 581 East. The vehicle was a white 2003 Ford Explorer with a plate showing that the registration expired in January of 2020. The driver was asked for her license. She said that she did not have her license on her. She was asked for her name and date of birth. The driver provided the name and date of birth of "Olga Casiano".
Through the duration of the stop, "Casiano" could not provide any proof of insurance. The odor of marijuana was detected from the vehicle as well, and a small amount of marijuana was recovered. Citations were issued to the driver who claimed to be "Olga Casiano". On May 7th, 2020 we received a call from Olga Casiano, who said that she received notices in the mail that these citations had gone unanswered to. Casiano explained that her sister uses her name sometimes since they look alike. She said that she was not involved in this incident.
It was then confirmed that the driver was indeed her sister, Jenefer Cruz-Casiano. Upon searching the driving license status of Jenefer Cruz-Casiano, it was found that she does not have a drivers license. A warrant has been issued for her arrest.
