On October 16, 2020 at 9:02 hours, the Lower Allen Township Police were dispatched to 3400 Hartzdale Drive for report of a retail theft. A female was to be in custody with Loss Prevention and a male suspect was to be outside in a black sedan parked in the fire lane. Officers arrived on scene and identified the male suspect as Christian Rodriguez. Loss Prevention reported they had an open investigation into the two for stealing items over the course of several days for the past few months. The two would sometimes steal items together and on other occasions steal items by themselves. They would do so be under ringing items, scanning items of a lower price then bagging the higher priced item, not scanning items in general or by scanning an item and then voiding it off the receipt but still taking the item. Rodriguez was responsible for the theft of $322 worth of merchandise.
Charges were filed and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.
