On June 10th, 2022, the Middlesex Township Police Department received a report of an active retail theft from a business within the township. The victim reported a white male individual stole several cases of Fireball Whiskey from the business by concealing them in his backpack. An investigation ensued and the suspect, who was identified as Joshua Fowler, was found at another nearby business and in possession of the stolen goods while actively consuming them and causing a disturbance. Joshua Fowler was arrested and charged for theft. Joshua was then transported to Cumberland County Prison for processing.
