On 4-27-2019 at approximately 20:45hrs Newville Police conducted a traffic stop on a red two door sedan that was traveling South on South High St without the use of headlights. The vehicle was stopped in the area of Vine St and Cedar St. The operator was identified as Tyler Bouder of Newville. Bouder exhibited nervous behavior and was easily distracted. The Officer observed a small bottle of alcohol sitting in the center console. Bouder was asked to step out of the vehicle which led to the discovery of an additional half empty bottle of Captain Morgan. Bouder was put through the Standardized Field Sobriety Test (SFST) battery. At the conclusion of the SFST, Bouder was placed in custody for suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol. The Cumberland County Toxicology report showed that Bouder's blood contained a BAC of .134%.
