The North Middleton Township Police received early morning reports on Jan. 22nd, 2021 of  3  suspicious males walking in several locations of the Township trying to open car doors.

The Cumberland County 911 emergency communication services have been restored.  As of 4:45pm all of the county 911 lines have been restored. Please resume calling 911 for emergencies. 

We were just advised that all 911 phone lines are down. If you need to contact the police or report an emergency please call the police station at 717-243-7910. It is not know how long the system will be down.   

Do to the unprecedented heavy snowfall that is expected Wednesday into Thursday, the Maintenance Department along with the Police Department are asking for our resident’s cooperation in the following:

Please do not park vehicles in posted “No Parking” areas due to the removal of snow. These streets mainly consist of Cul-de-Sacs and narrower streets. The police department will be monitoring these areas for compliance.

***Please do not shovel snow from sidewalks or driveways onto the streets. Thus it causes an unsafe or more hazardous roadway condition***

The North Middleton Township Police are requesting assistance identifying the pictured male who stole the pictured motorized bicycle from a residence in the 800 block of E. Louther St, Carlisle.  The motorbike is a 26" Diamondback - metallic blue w/ chrome fenders, headlight and tailight and is more than 25 years old.  Anyone that may be able to identify the pictured suspect should contact North Middleton Twp PD @ (717)243-7910 or leave a tip through Crimewatch.

There were multiple mailboxes damaged in the 1800 block of Spring Rd, and the 2100 block of Douglas Dr. Saturday night into Sunday morning (May 9th-10th) from a hit and run vehicle.  Anyone with information on a vehicle in the area with suspicious damage to the passenger front or side should contact the North Middleton Township Police Department at (717-243-7910).

COVID-19 (Coronavirus)
As part of the national effort to contain the spread of COVID-19, North Middleton Township has elected to close the Township Office, Police Department Office, Public Works Office, Tax Collector Office and the North Middleton Authority Office to public access until further notice.
All Municipal employees will report to work as usual. All business with any office will be handled via email, telephone, and/or U.S. Mail. Any business that must be conducted in person shall be done by appointment only.

On 2/15/2019, a North Middleton Township resident reported his bank debit card was compromised (without being stolen) and used at a Gamestop  (Harrisburg High Pointe Commons) and Five Guys by a black male wearing a gray Tommy Hilfiger sweatshirt and blue jeans.  The total amount used was approx.. $535.84.  Anyone with information on the identity of the pictured black male should contact North Middleton Township Police Department @ (717)243-7910.
