On Saturday, March 2, 2019, at 0422hrs, Shippensburg Police were called to 239 West King St. after receiving an anonymous complaint that there was a wanted person inside. When police arrived they located a male subject who initially gave Police a false name to hide his identity because he had outstanding warrants. Through an investigation, it was determined that the male was actually Barry PAINTER who had outstanding warrants through several police agencies. PAINTER was taken into custody and transported to the Cumberland County Booking Center. PAINTER was charged with giving False Identification to Law Enforcement Authorities.
