Shippensburg Police received a found dog that was found running loose on the 100 block of North Apple Avenue. The dog is a male Pitbull, mostly black with some white and was wearing a fluorescent green collar with no tags. The dog was taken to the Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter. If anyone knows who the owner is, please contact them and or police at 717-532-7361 to arrange return of the dog.
