Hit-and-run to attended vehicle
On Wednesday, April 26, 2017, at 3:55 PM, our department received a complaint of a hit-and-run that occurred approximately 1/2 hour before in the 100 block of McCreary Avenue. Upon investigation, it was learned that the victim's vehicle was in the south bound lane, facing north. As the driver placed the vehicle in drive, another vehicle travelling north in the northbound lane sideswiped her vehicle, causing minor damage. The other vehicle failed to stop and continued west onto East Burd Street.
The fleeing vehicle was described as a metal gray / silver Ford coupe or sedan, with an older Mennonite female driver. No other information was able to be obtained. The fleeing vehicle should have possible damage to the driver's side mirror. The driver of the struck vehicle was not injured.
