The purpose of this drill is to enable school staff and first responders an opportunity to practice their responses to an immediate threat in a school setting. This drill is a result of nearly a year of collaboration and planning between the school district administration and first responders. We believe that the drill will provide opportunities to test plans and that our students and staff will be safer as a result.

We also encourage you to notify your employees and/or neighbors, so that there is no confusion, and that this is ONLY A DRILL.
