On Saturday, September 9, 2017 around 10:00PM, West Shore regional Police were dispatched to the 200 block of Herman Avenue for a report of a woman yelling. Officers arrived and spoke with Sharon Teresa London, 58 years of age, from the 200 Block of Herman Avenue. It was learned that London was yelling in the street. While speaking with officers, London exhibited signs of intoxication. Further investigation found that London had struck a street sign three times by backing up and pulling forward and striking the sign. The sign was not damaged. London’s vehicle sustained damage to the front bumper.
London was taken into custody and was transported to the Cumberland County Prison where she refused a blood and breath test. She was processed and charged with Driving Under the Influence. The charges will be filed with Magisterial District Judge Elizabeth Beckley's office.
