On Tuesday, November 28, 2017 around 10:20 pm the West Shore Regional Police Department received a report from a resident living in the 200 block of Walton Street in the Borough of Lemoyne. This resident originally reported that a male subject entered her home and attacked her with a knife and robbed her.
Within 2 hours of the investigation it was determined that the complainant was being untruthful and had filed a false police report.
This complainant was arrested for False Reports to Law Enforcement and Tampering with or Fabricating Physical Evidence. These charges were subsequently reduced to a summary graded Disorderly Conduct charge in a Plea arrangement deal at District Court on January 24, 2018.
Please be assured that had this been an actual incident and the community was in any danger that the West Shore Regional Police Department would have immediately notified residents and surrounding communities and law enforcement agencies that a perpetrator was on the loose.
