On 12/21/2024 at approximately 8:30 PM Carlisle Police responded to an incident in which gun shots were fired in the 100 block of East Louther Street. It was determined that multiple houses and multiple parked vehicles were struck by gunfire. During the subsequent investigation Jarvaris Griffin was identified as one of the shooters in the incident. Griffin was taken into custody on 07/22/2025 and charged with the following crimes. 

PA Title 18: 2702 a1- Aggravated Assault, Felony 1 (3 Counts)

PA Title 18: 2702 a4- Aggravated Assault, Felony 2 (3 Counts)

PA Title 18: 2707.1 a- Discharge of a firearm into an occupied structure, Felony 3 (3 Counts)

PA Title 18: 6106 a1- Firearms not to be carried without a license, Felony 3 (1 Count) 

PA Title 18: 2705- Recklessly endangering another person, Misdemeanor 2 (12 Counts)
