On March 6th, 2023, at 1246 hours, Carlisle Borough Police was contacted by Salvation Army, 20 E. Pomfret Street, Carlisle Borough, reference a missing person.  Walter "Buzz" PHILLIPS was enrolled in a Senior Skills Program with Salvation Army when he walked out of the building without notice.  Staff reviewed video footage and determined he left after lunch at 1152 hours.  PHILLIPS suffers from dementia and is considered endangered. 

PHILLIPS was last seen wearing a tan flannel shirt with gray undershirt, blue jeans, and sneakers.  He is described as a white male, 69 years old, approximately 5'8", 200 lbs.  PHILLIPS was last seen on surveillance camera walking north on N. Hanover Street near E. North Street.

UPDATE: Phillips was located safe and returned to family members.
