COMMUNITY CRIME WATCH ALERT: VEHICLE BREAK-INS

NEW CUMBERLAND, PA - The New Cumberland community has recently experienced a series of vehicle break-ins. Residents are urged to remain vigilant and take preventative measures to secure their vehicles.

What You Can Do to Protect Your Vehicle:

• Always lock your doors and roll up windows. Even if you're only leaving your vehicle for a few minutes, an unlocked car is an easy target.
• Remove all valuables from sight. Laptops, purses, electronics, and even loose change can attract thieves. If you must leave items in your car, secure them in the trunk or out of plain view.
• Park in well-lit areas. Thieves prefer to operate under the cover of darkness.

• Never leave your keys in the car, even if it's in your garage.
