New Cumberland Juvenile arrested for Aggravated Assault

On Monday, April 4, 2023, at approximately 5:00 pm a fourteen year old New Cumberland resident attempted to stab a fourteen year old Lower Allen Township resident and a twelve year old New Cumberland resident in the 1100 block of Drexel Hills Boulevard. The attack was interrupted by adults, and a knife was seized. There were no injuries and the suspect fled the scene. The suspect was located by the New Cumberland Borough Police Department a short time after the altercation and placed into custody.

Cumberland County Juvenile Probation was contacted and declined to place the juvenile suspect. The juvenile was released to their family. The adjudication of the suspect will proceed through the Cumberland County Juvenile Court system on charges of Aggravated Assault and Simple Assault.
