On December 8, 2019 North Middleton Police were dispatched to the area of Suncrest Dr. by the Village Park for a suspicious male who entered the new building under construction. The caller who witnessed the event stated that they saw a male in and around the building with a flashlight and told the male he was not to be on the construction site poperty. It was then the suspicious male took off on foot to a white sedan parked in the Village Park. The witness was able to write down the license plate and turned the information over to police. After speaking with the construction company police did a walk through of the building and were able to watch surveillance footage. There was damage and destruction found in and around the new construction property. Police were able to tract down the suspect using the license plate number that was provided. After an interview was conducted with the suspect charges were filed for Criminal Trespass and Criminal Mischief.
