Do to the unprecedented heavy snowfall that is expected Wednesday into Thursday, the Maintenance Department along with the Police Department are asking for our resident’s cooperation in the following:
Please do not park vehicles in posted “No Parking” areas due to the removal of snow. These streets mainly consist of Cul-de-Sacs and narrower streets. The police department will be monitoring these areas for compliance.
***Please do not shovel snow from sidewalks or driveways onto the streets. Thus it causes an unsafe or more hazardous roadway condition***
Please refrain from driving during the heaviest portion of the storm, which is expected to occur in the late afternoon, early evening into the overnight hours. If you do have to drive, please use caution, slow down and give yourself plenty of room between yourself and the vehicle ahead of you and clear snow and ice from your windshield.
If you have a fire hydrant on or near your residence, please help the Fire Department by clearing the snow from around it. Seconds count in the event of an emergency.
We wish all residents to stay safe during this snow event. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact the police department at any time.
Thank You,
Chief Gary E. Carver
