New AED Installed at North Middleton Park Through Donation from The Peyton Walker Foundation

North Middleton Township, Pa. October 17, 2025 — North Middleton Township Parks & Recreation is pleased to announce the installation of a new Automated External Defibrillator (AED) at North Middleton Park.
The lifesaving device was generously donated by The Peyton Walker Foundation in collaboration with the UPMC Pinnacle Foundation to PA Impulse, a softball team that regularly uses the park’s fields. The park is home for the PA Impulse travel softball organization.
The AED will be stored on-site at the park to ensure quick access in case of emergencies during practices, games, and for anyone visiting our parks.
A public ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held on Monday, October 27 at 4:30 PM at North Middleton Park. Community members, park users, athletes, coaches, and families are warmly invited to attend.
