UPDATE:  The operator of the motorcycle has been identified as Frank MONTALBO, 54 years old, from Owings Mills, Md.  He was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

On September 11, 2021 @ approx. 2:45pm the North Middleton Police Department was dispatched to the 1100 block of N. Middleton Rd. for a motorcycle accident with injuries.  The accident occurred as Unit 1 was travelling east on North Middleton Rd.  MONTALBO failed to negotiate a slight curve in the roadway.  The motorcycle left the east bound lane and onto the south berm.  Unit 1 continued in an easterly direction where Unit 1 impacted a telephone pole on the south side of the roadway.  Life saving attempts were made by first responders on scene. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.  The investigation is continuing.
