On November 7, at approximately 5:45am, North Middleton Twp. Police were dispatched to an auto accident involving a deer. The driver of the vehicle was traveling South bound on Waggoners Gap Rd. when a deer ran out in front of the vehicle, causing damage to both the vehicle and the deer. The driver of the vehicle escaped the accident with no injuries. The Officer was able to locate the deer and humanely end it's suffering. The North Middleton Twp. Police Department would like to remind all residents of peak deer season and ask that you travel safely, watching for deer in/along the roadway.
