Passenger 1: David HORNING Mechanicsburg, Pa. Moderate injuries, flown to Holy Spirit Hospital by air medical.  Extricated by fire/ambulance personnel.

Passengers 3 and 4.  Two male juveniles, Minor injuries,  transported to Holy Spirit Hospital via ambulance.

Unit 1: 2019 Chevrolet pickup truck, severe damage

Operator 2: Wyatt OWENS Honey Grove, Pa. Moderate injuries, transported to Holy Spirt Hospital via ambulance.

Passenger 1- Brittany ALTLAND Honey Grove, Pa. Moderate injuries, transported to Holy Spirit Hospital via ambulance. Extricated by fire/ambulance personnel.

Unit 2: 2006 Mazda, severe damage, motor sheared from engine compartment.  

   This accident occurred as Unit 1 was travelling east on SR944 and Unit 2 was travelling north on SR74.  Opr. 1 failed to stop at a posted stop sign at the intersection.  The front of Unit 1 impacted the front of Unit 2 in the northbound lane of SR74.  After impact, Unit 1 spun in a counterclockwise direction, while sliding in a northeasterly direction. The passengers side of Unit 1 impacted a guide rain on the north side of the intersection, causing Unit 1 to roll over before coming to rest on it's wheels in a field, facing in a westerly direction.  After impact, Unit 2 spun in a clockwise direction, and came to rest within the intersection, facing in a southwesterly direction.

   Assisted at the scene by Cumberland Goodwill ambulance/ALS, North Middleton and Carlisle Fire companies and fire police.

   The investigation is continuing.
