Drug delivery resulting in Death conviction

On Thursday, September 12, 2019, following a 4-day jury trial at the Cumberland County Courthouse, Adam Wayne PITTMAN, 34 y/o of Newburg, PA, was found guilty of Drug Delivery Resulting in Death, Delivery of a Schedule I Controlled Substance (Heroin), and Involuntary Manslaughter.  PITTMAN's conviction stems from an incident that occurred on January 22, 2018, in which PITTMAN delivered heroin to Joshua ARMOLT, 38 y/o of North Middleton Township, PA.  The heroin that was delivered by PITTMAN ultimately caused ARMOLT’s fatal overdose on January 24, 2018.  PITTMAN is currently incarcerated in the Cumberland County Prison on $100,000 bail.  Sentencing is scheduled for November 26th, 2019, at the Cumberland County Courthouse.
