On April 21, 2023 at 10:57 PM the North Middleton Police were dispatched to a vehicle accident with injuries involving a motorcycle.   A Chevrolet Suburban, driven by Philip Caruso of New Haven, New York, was pulling out of a parking lot in the 800 block of Newville Road.  A Kawasaki motorcycle, driven by Trevor Rhoades of Mechanicsburg was West on Newville Road and struck the Suburban, driven by Mr Caruso, in the left front.  Mr Rhoades was transported by Life Lion aeromedical to Hershey Medical Center with serious injuries.  Mr Caruso and his passengers were not injured.  North Middleton Township Police were assisted by Carlisle Police, Pa State Police, Cumberland - Goodwill EMS, Union Fire Company, and North Middleton Township Fire Department.  Accident is still under investigation.
