On Friday, August 7, 2015 around 230PM, a West Shore Regional Police Officer observed a wanted individual out of Dauphin County driving in Lemoyne Borough. The individual was identified as 30-year-old Jonathan Andrew PIERCE of the 800 Block of Bosler Avenue in Lemoyne. The officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle, however PIERCE fled on a dead-end street onto Lemoyne Borough Property.
PIERCE then fled on foot and was taken into custody a short time later. West Shore Regional Police were assisted in the apprehension by Camp Hill Borough Police, New Cumberland Borough Police, Lower Allen Township Police, and Harrisburg City Police).
PIERCE was charged with Flight to Avoid Apprehension, Recklessly Endangering Another Person, Fleeing and Eluding, Criminal Trespass, and multiple traffic violations.
PIERCE was taken to Cumberland County Prison and was arraigned by the on-call Magisterial District Judge. Bail was set at $50,000 and PIERCE was committed to Cumberland County Prison
