Chief's Message

Welcome and thank you for taking the time to explore the West Shore Regional Police Department’s webpage.  West Shore Regional Police Department is the only regional police department in Cumberland County and proudly serves both Wormleysburg and Lemoyne Boroughs.  Currently the department is a member of and accredited by the Pennsylvania Chiefs of Police Association.

The West Shore Regional Police Department is a full service law enforcement agency that provides 24 hour service to the residents and visitors of Wormleysburg  and Lemoyne Boroughs. The department is responsible for emergency responses, investigating criminal activity, and promoting community relations, all of which will be conducted in a professional manner.

It is of my opinion that the 21st century police officer is more than just a police officer. They are community leaders, social workers, and role models for the next generation. Today, police officers cannot fulfill their duties without the assistance of the community. Building a strong relationship and having open communication will create a healthy partnership between the West Shore Regional Police Department and our communities. The West Shore Regional Police Department will work for and with the community to instill a positive and safe environment to live. Together, we can improve the quality of life in Lemoyne and Wormleysburg Boroughs.  Open communication is needed to build this partnership which begins with me, therefore feel free to call me anytime with the information listed below.

Thank you,

Anthony Minium, Chief of Police
