The West Shore Regional Police Department has joined multiple other law enforcement agencies in Cumberland County that began carrying Narcan.  Each one of our officers was trained and issued an emergency kit to be used in opioid overdoses.  The kits were obtained in partnership with Holy Spirt EMS and through a grant obtained by the Cumberland County District Attorney's Office.  We truly hope that we never have to use the kits but are glad that our officers are equipped with this life saving equipment.
