On October 31, 2023, the Lower Allen Township Police Department received information about a non-active sexual assault. A 14-year-old juvenile victim reported several sexual encounters with a family member.

The actor was identified as Giovanni A. Ortiz, and the encounters were reported as having occurred between the years 2020 and 2022. Ortiz was accused of showing the victim pornographic videos and offering the victim money to perform and receive sex acts.

On July 16, 2024 criminal charges were filed on Ortiz. Aa arrest warrant was issued, and he turned himself in on July 22nd. A preliminary hearing was held on August 28, 2024, and the charges were waived to County Court.
