On September 3rd, 2025, around 6:44 PM, the Lower Allen Township Police Department was dispatched to the Capital City Mall, 3506 Capital City Mall Drive for an active retail theft. American Eagle was reporting that a suspect, later identified as Lakelynn Wilson had stolen merchandise from them. Wilson was located by police and found to be in possession of $601.35 worth of stolen items from several stores inside the mall.

Wilson was searched incident to arrest with a vape found on them. Wilson denied anything else on her.

Once at Cumberland County Prison, Wilson was searched again and a THC vape pen was located in her underwear, resulting in charges for bringing contraband into the prison. 

Charges were subsequently filed.
