Police Need Help Solving Smash and Grab!

On June 8, 2022 around 5:15 PM, the Lower Allen Township Police Department was dispatched to the 3300 block of Hartzdale Drive for vehicle break-ins. Two separate vehicles had their windows smashed out, had been entered, and a victim's purse had been taken from inside one of the vehicles. On the next day, the victim’s purse (as well as other purses discovered taken from other jurisdictions) was found abandoned in the grass area near a local motel.

The victim’s PA license and credit cards were still missing, though. On July 8th, the pictured female attempted to cash a fraudulent check at two York area Members 1st FCU locations. She presented the victim’s stolen license as ID. She was operating the pictured silver Toyota sedan bearing a stolen Michigan license plate. That tag was stolen from a vehicle parked at a Home Depot location in Glen Burnie, Maryland on July 7th.

Anyone who recognizes the female or anyone with information in reference to this crime, is asked to contact the Lower Allen Township Police Department.
