On April 7, 2023 around 3:00 PM, the Lower Allen Township Police Department was dispatched to American Eagle in the Capital City Mall for a non-active retail theft. Officers arrived and spoke to store employees, who reported a theft of fifty-one men's shirts valued at $2,292. Officers obtained video and discovered that the two pictured males worked together to steal from four other stores. The thieves would talk to each other on their cell phones, one would then enter the store first, prepare for the theft, and the other would enter the store and then walk out with a full bag. He would then leave the Mall and empty the bag's contents into their vehicle before returning inside the Mall.

The males were at the Mall from around 10:25 AM to 11:34 AM and left the area in a dark colored Jeep Cherokee with New York Plates.
